The AMA bursary

 The AMA is offering 10 bursary places for £239 +VAT to AMA members who are in the first five years of their professional career and have not attended a previous AMA conference.

The application deadline has now passed for this year. If you are interested in receiving information on future conference bursary schemes, please email helen@a-m-a.co.uk

Criteria for assessing applications:

1. Applicants must be within the first five years of their professional career
2.Applicants must be an AMA member and working in the cultural sector in the UK
3. Applicants must not have attended an AMA conference before
4. Applications will be scored 1-5 on the following attributes:
Demonstrable commitment to professional development
Demonstrable commitment to arts marketing and audience development
Level of positive impact of attending conference on applicant's personal and professional development
Relevance of work experience


The Arts Council of Wales bursary

The Arts Council of Wales this year is offering bursaries to four people just starting out in their arts marketing careers, allowing them to attend the AMA conference for just £100 +VAT (travel and accommodation not included).

The deadline for bursary applications for this year has now passed but if you are interested in receiving information on any future bursary schemes, please email helen@a-m-a.co.uk

Criteria for assessing applications:

1. Applicants must be within the first five years of their professional career
2. Applicants must be working in Wales
3. Applicants must not have attended an AMA conference before
4. Priority will be given to applicants from smaller organisations
5. Applications will be assessed on the following criteria:
Demonstrable commitment to professional development
Demonstrable commitment to arts marketing and audience development
Level of positive impact of attending
conference on applicant's personal and professional development
Relevance of work experience
